2019 Kunze Award

The Kunze Award is an annual achievement award that recognizes a faculty or staff member of Texas A&M University that has made outstanding contributions to the success and prosperity of the welfare of a graduate student or group of graduate students. Awards will be announced and distributed at the 2019 Annual Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) Awards Banquet on April 29, 2019.

Dr. George W. Kunze was a former Dean of Graduate Studies.

The Narrative

In 500-600 words please explain why you are nominating the individual by explaining

(a) how has the nominee helped the growth of graduate students;

(b) how has the nominee advised on the well-being of graduates;

(c) how has the nominee shown care and dedication for graduate students, and

(d) what is the qualification of the nominee.

Providing clear examples to strengthen the claims you make and build your nominee’s credibility and competitiveness. There are no formatting requirements beyond the word limit.
