Judges
Faculty, staff, graduate, and professional students at Texas A&M can register to judge student presentations and provide valuable feedback on scholarly research.

Judge Types
- Topic Judge: Experts in a specific subject area who assess presentations for content, methodology, and sound conclusions.
- Layman Judge: Scholars who evaluate presentations based on overall deliverability, communication, and presentation skills—no subject expertise required.
How It Works
- Topic Judges must hold the same degree level as the students they judge
- Judges are scheduled based on availability and matched to presentations in their field when possible
- Oral sessions: 6-8 presentations | Poster sessions: 8-10 presentations
- All judges receive a training and evaluation rubric prior to the event
Your Impact
Judges provide critical feedback that strengthens students’ research, presentation skills, and professional development. Your objective evaluation helps bridge disciplines and enriches the SRW experience.
