The Graduate and Professional School strives to promote and expand opportunities for graduate students to engage in professional development activities that will prepare them for their future careers. It aims To provide customer-friendly, accurate, and timely support services to the graduate students, faculty, and staff to enroll and graduate highly qualified, diverse graduate students.

G.R.A.D. Aggies provide professional development activities, including workshops, seminars, training activities and online resources. These programs help graduate students develop professional skills to complement the discipline-specific knowledge they gain in their degree program.

The Center for Teaching Excellence provides consultation and support services to faculty, programs, departments, and colleges in relation to teaching and learning. The Center has cultivated many collaborative relationships across campus to help provide interdisciplinary professional development opportunities for faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.

To facilitate graduate and undergraduate students to develop their writing and verbal skills in English and to provide resources to faculty and instructors (like GAT) to integrate such pedagogical skills in their curriculum. Located in Evans library, the University Writing Center supports writing and public speaking for graduate and undergraduate students across the university, with particular emphasis on supporting W and C courses.
