Competitors
Showcase your research and compete for awards across 11 diverse taxonomies. Submit your abstract to present your work as an individual or group through oral or poster presentations.

Registration Requirements
All competitors must complete the SRW Competitor Form with:
- Name, contact information, college/department
- Submission type (Individual or Group | Oral or Poster)
- Presentation title, abstract, supervising professor, subject area, keywords
Eligibility
- Undergraduate and graduate students welcome
- Primary author(s) of research projects, papers, capstones, or class projects
- Research does not need to be complete—present findings at your current stage
- Evaluated by at least 2 judges (1 topic expert, 1 layman judge)
- All competitors receive written feedback after the competition

Participation Details
- Group Leader: Submit all presentation information and indicate the total number of team members
- Group Members: Complete the form individually, select “Group – Member,” and reference your group leader
- Important: All group members must submit the form, and your group leader must be a student
- Duration: ~15 minutes total
- Research presentation: 10-12 minutes
- Questions: 3-5 minutes
Requirements:
- Digital slide deck or poster (displayed via projector)
- Presented in dedicated oral presentation rooms
- Size Requirements: 36″×24″ to 48″×36″ (maximum 4’×4′)
Submission:
- Print your poster and bring it to the MSC the morning of your session or 15 minutes before
- Download templates from the University Writing Center or search “TAMU Research Poster Template”
